Lucy, born in 1996, Blogger, Writer – I guess, I’m still trying to figure myself out.
I started blogging on WordPress in 2017 (evaharmoni.wordpress.com). My pen name used to be Eva Harmoni, and you can expect to find that name on my older blog posts. Prior to that, I was semipoetry.wordpress.com. My posts were random, but eventually, I saw a pattern – I posted movie summaries, my poems, and articles & lists of anything I could think of.
As of writing (2024), I realized that I have been blogging for 7 years – but this journey has been on and off. I’ve been trying out different things, from small business attempts selling both physical and digital products, to finding out the best career path for me. But no matter how many paths I try and how busy I get, I seem to always go back to blogging.
It was in 2023 when I decided to take blogging more seriously. I transitioned from wordpress.com to a self-hosted site via wordpress.org. Since then, blogging has been part of my journey instead of simply just something I go back to when real life doesn’t get too hectic.
My posts are the same years after, and it amazes me that a lot of summaries and poems have already piled up. This has been the only project I tried that I didn’t let go of – I just kept on coming back to it no matter what comes up.
There really isn’t much to share about myself; but I hope my ramblings gave you an idea of who I am and what I am up to. Please note that as much as possible, I would like to separate the real me from this expressive version of myself on this website.
