Tiktok Affiliate Journey in the Philippines | Week 1 of Being an Affiliate

Aside from the tiktok account that i use for this website to post my poems @foreverwinternotes, I have 2 other Tiktok accounts that I tried being an affiliate on.

I mentioned on one of my posts as well that I have a Shopee account. As much as I want to share my growth with that, I will no longer continue being active on Shopee. This will be another blog post.

If you’re not familiar with Tiktok Affiliate, it’s an option to earn an income on Tiktok, by promoting products and getting commissions from it. I am not sure how it works for other countries, but in the Philippines, you don’t have to have a lot of followers to get started.

How to Know If You’re Ready to Start Writing Full Time?

Sometimes I wonder if I am romanticizing my passion as I way for me to escape my 9 – 5?

As a 9-5 girl, I have always showed up.

Do I always give my best? No. But do I always give it a 100%? Also, no.

The closer it gets for me to finally start my shift, the more appealing my habits become – the content ideas, the higher the urge to write.

During my last shift, I tried getting every moment of it towards blogging. Even when it was just only 2 minutes before my shifts starts, my thoughts were still on my blog.

How does writing full time went for others?

I was on Reddit that time, even when the time has come for me to finally log in. I was looking for stories about people who quit their full time job, to write full time.

Blogger Diary | Defining My Blog Goals for 2024

Because I am overwhelmed. This is how I realize that blogging is really a lot of work. It is not just writing and clicking on publish (well, it can be that way, if you want to – i did that before, but i have a new goal now).

When i decided to monetize this blog, my plan of action was to simply have more content, and to post it on social media. I realized that I kept posting content without considering the value it gives, and it’s visibility.

Today, I decided to do more research and to explore more bloggers, check on coaches, just to realize that i really have a lot of work to do in this blog. And I am pretty overwhelmed, switching between tabs, because I feel like i have to do it all now.

Today’s agenda would be to turn everything around, because I realized I have been blogging about myself, without considering if i am adding value to my readers.

I have also decided to treat each to do list on my blog similar to the tasks I do at work. I normally take each project by bulk, aiming to complete one before proceeding to the next to do. I realized that this is a project, and it’s alright not to complete each item before starting the next one – as long as i make sure that i keep doing small steps, to maintain the progress.

I checked on https://seona.usestyle.ai/ to check my website’s SEO performance. I got a score of 3 – which is low. I checked on a very famous blog that I know, and their SEO was 6.

Blogger Diary | A New Type of Content in this Blog

Today, I looked for bloggers who write about the days in their life. I love watching day in the life videos, and i think it would be great to read about it to. I’ve been thinking about writing one and posting it on my website, it’s just that I tried this before, told myself that from then on, i will be blogging about my every day life. It lasted 3 days.

I’ve been on Reddit lately, probably a result of spending too much time on other social media apps, and no longer being interested with it’s content. It’s entertaining, sure, but sometimes i miss the authenticity brought by Reddit, the confessions of the posters who bared it all, because they are anonymous. I liked that, because for the past days, i’ve been consuming posts and stories about vacations, milestones, wins, and everything else aesthetic. I would go through that content, while I am working, and i would end up twice as lost as i already am.
